Alumni - About Us

 

The Alumni Association was established with the aim;

  1. To enable past students maintain their link with the University and to promote social contacts amongst its members through interchange of ideas at regular public lectures, seminars and symposia throughout the country.
  2. To promote the welfare of past students.
  3. To project and protect the image of the University of Cape Coast.
  4. To contribute to the development of the University.
  5. To contribute to national development in all its ramifications.

Membership to the Association is categorized as;

  1. Ordinary members: shall consist of graduates and all former students of the University College/University of Cape Coast who have been enrolled for at least one academic year and who have registered by paying the prescribed annual subscription.
  1. Life members shall be ordinary members who have paid a composite fee equal to 25 annual subscriptions.

 

  1. Honorary members shall be persons who originally are not alumni of the University of Cape Coast but who have made substantial contributions to the progress of the university in some way and have been recommended to assembly to become such members.

Location of the Alumni Office:

The office is situated between Adehye and Atlantic Halls at the old site or the south campus of the university
